Resolution 26-01 was approved by the Lopez Rec Commission on February 26. The resolution places a six-year levy proposition on the April 28 ballot at a rate of $0.23 per $1,000 of assessed property value.

Through an interlocal agreement, levy funds will support the Lopez Island School District’s sports program and provide community access to school facilities for recreational use. Additionally, the levy will provide long-term, stable funding for youth and after-school programs.
